When it comes to public safety and personal safety, it is always desirable to improve upon the way people are warned about potentially dangerous situations and also we require 100 percent perfection in warning method. To date there does not appear to be any railroad collision avoidance system that can effectively warn a person when train is on its track. The conventional railway accident avoiding system uses warning lights and human controlled gates to alert a motorist that there is an oncoming train. The most of the railroad crossings are passive railroad crossings which are particularly dangerous since they have no warning lights or gates to warn a motorist that a train is approaching toward the railroad crossing. This project is fully automated using PLC and SCADA based sensor operated. Sensors are placed at track and when it senses train passing on track it give input to PLC and PLC is programmed in such a way that when sensor gives input to plc it starts a buzzer and after sometime it close the road gate that no one can pass until train crosses the second sensor. Second sensor is placed after road crossing. When this sensor senses that train is passed then it gives input to plc which opens the road gate for motorist. Same process will happen when train comes from other side.

Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI)
This is a process of stemming or creating integrated circuits by combing several thousands of transistors together on a single chip. VLSI stands for very large scale integration which in short has a purpose of integrating several numbers of semiconductors on a single chip. There are various VLSI technologies used as 45nm, 65nm. They have been named so depending on the length of the gate used in the transistors. A microprocessor is also a VLSI device. Structured VLSI design is a modular methodology originated just with an aim of saving microchip area by minimizing the interconnection area.

Industrial Automation
The word “Industrial automation” implies automatically working organizations, which make use programmable logic controllers (PLC). Process control is a branched statistics and engineering discipline that deals with various controlling methods of output for a specific industrial automated process (architecture, controlling). It was a replacement invented the systems that required numbers of timers; relays etc and increase the cost also. PLCs are a combine package of multiple inputs and outputs, operating under various temperature ranges, even have immunity to noise. As the enhancements made year and year over, sequential relay control, motion control, process control, distributed control systems and networking are included into PLC. The main difference from other computers is that PLCs operate in industrial environments and have multiple (I/O) terminals; those connect the PLC to sensors and actuators. PLCs measure, continuously varied analog input process variables (P, T), and outputs t
