Project Description

The Robotic Arm is controlled by using a Wireless Control unit fitted with the accelerometer sensor thus making the control of arm very easy and synchronized. It has a 3D Movement using 4 Gear Motors. The Aim of this project is to show how a mechanical arm can be automated with the help of Microcontroller using accelerometer. These projects consist of two part, one is the transmitter part which consist of the accelerometer and transmitter microcontroller operated through the battery and the second part consist of a receiver microcontroller and mechanical robotic arm having flexibility to move up, down ,left, right, forward and backward. Both of these communicate through a wireless module called RF transceiver. The arm will move up according to this signal and a switch pad is used responsible for pick and place capability of jaw connected in front of the arm that moves forward and backward. LCD connected to the receiver microcontroller to display the movement of the arm.
