Project Description

There are certain places at offices and even at homes where water can cause damages. These places can be storerooms at houses, where residents visit less and if the water enters such places it can damage the things that are kept there. Even at places where files or important documents are kept water presence is unwanted. Water can corrode metal things and can damage or spoil the content of files.Water sensors are employed at certain places of offices or houses. These water sensors detect the presence of water or corrosion in such areas and warn the owner about the upcoming damage. The network of IoT and telemetric communication is used for sending this information on the internet.

    Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI)

This is a process of stemming or creating integrated circuits by combing several thousands of transistors together on a single chip. VLSI stands for very large scale integration which in short has a purpose of integrating several numbers of semiconductors on a single chip. There are various VLSI technologies used as 45nm, 65nm. They have been named so depending on the length of the gate used in the transistors. A microprocessor is also a VLSI device. Structured VLSI design is a modular methodology originated just with an aim of saving microchip area by minimizing the interconnection area.

    Embedded System using ARDUINO

Embedded system is basically a combination of hardware with software. Embedded system basically is a computer system that is designed to pull off a few or one specific function, more often than not in real-time computing constraints. “ARDUNIO” most widely used technique of embedded systems. An Arduino is an assembled board of Atmel 8-bit AVR microcontroller with additional components to facilitate programming. An important aspect of the Arduino is the standardized way in which the connectors are exposed, providing a facility to the CPU board to get connected to a variety of interchangeable add-on modules known as shields. The hardware consists of an open-source hardware board designed around an 8-bit Atmel AVR microcontroller. The software consists of a standard programming language compiler and a boot loader that executes on the microcontroller.

It is an 8-bitRISC single chip microcontroller which was developed in 1996. The AVR was one of the first microcontroller families to use on-chip flash memory for program storage, used by other microcontrollers at the time. It has many enlightening features as there is added an EEPROM to store data over a power off time. An internal oscillator and an internal power on reset make the AVR working without any other components, watchdog.

    Advance Embedded System

Embedded system is basically a combination of hardware with software. An embedded system basically is a computer system that is designed to pull off a few or one specific function, more often than not in real-time computing constraints. Advance version of combo of two most vetern embedded systems i.e. PIC and 8051 together. They both have various advantages. The PIC is a very general purpose microcontroller with ADC, counter, Built in oscillator with selectable speeds Wide range of interfaces including SPI, USB, USART, AD, programmable comparators, PWM has been used with the advantages of the 8-bit 8051 microcontroller
