Project Description

As Security is a prime concern in our day-today life. Every country as well as individual wants to be as safer as possible. Recent activities in the major cities have made it more important than ever to take adequate steps to maintain the safety of the home and the personals. In this Modern era people are using different types of security products in their shops, office and homes. Safety instruments like video recording, cameras, sensors, GSM, and siren based security systems are used. The shopkeepers are using video recording and camera based projects. For home, people uses the sensors, camera and siren based security systems. This project aims to control device via PC though a digital signature hidden in an image or simply image as a password. All other conventional methods were not that much secure as this one, as it is almost impossible to crack because password is encrypted in the image itself and only valid (Who has decoder script) user can access it.The MCU (Microcontroller) unit is used to design the buzzer circuit which will help us to interface the buzzer/beeper with our PC. Several devices can be attached to this circuit when needed can be connected with the unit via isolation circuit and relay card, which may or may not be controlled from the PC after password verification. On PC, MATLAB is used for all the image processing a password control and serial port is used to send the data to the Microcontroller unit.

    Embedded System using 8051 Microcontroller

Embedded system is basically a combination of hardware with software. Embedded system basically is a computer system that is designed to pull off a few or one specific function, more often than not in real-time computing constraints. An embedded system is called an embedded system because it is embedded in or is a part of much complex and complete device that comprises hardware, moveable and mechanical parts. They are basically microcontroller to work with ‘applications as a resulted output. A microcontroller is a device with its own memory (RAM, ROM) and many more features added to it such as UART, Interupts and Timer etc, which make it superior to the microprocessors.

Advance version of combo of two most vetern embedded systems i.e. PIC and 8051 together. They both have various advantages. The PIC is a very general purpose microcontroller with ADC, counter, Built in oscillator with selectable speeds Wide range of interfaces including SPI, USB, USART, AD, programmable comparators, PWM has been used with the advantages of the 8-bit 8051 microcontroller

Matlab Basics and Image Processing And GUI Development

Image processing usually refers to digital image processing, but optical and analog also are possible. image processing is any form of signal processing for which the input is an image, such as a photograph or video frame; the output of image processing may be either an image or a set of characteristics or parameters related to the image. MATLAB allows you to deal easily with images and video, audio then any other software. Graphical user interface (GUI) is an application provided by MATLAB, with help of which bank end and front end work is simplified. It is a graphical interface between the user and the coder. Algorithm development is central to image processing and computer vision because each situation is unique, and good solutions require multiple design iterations. GUI provides a comprehensive environment to gain insight into your image and video data, develop algorithms, and explore implementation tradeoffs. It is having easy introduction to images. It is used in form making, p
