Project Description

Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with design, construction, operation and their applications. These robots are controlled from computer systems, sensory feedbacks and image processing. As result of researches in these technologies we have got so many refined robotic systems which can replace humans in hazardous or manufacturing process. In this project we are using Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) which is signaling used for telecommunication signaling over analog telephone handsets and other communication devices and switching centers. So in this robotic car will be controlled by phone that will transmit a particular frequency corresponding to the key pressed to decoder section, which will in turn provide BCD output to each frequency. In accordance to output movements of robotic car will be controlled.

    Embedded System using 8051 Microcontroller

Embedded system is basically a combination of hardware with software. Embedded system basically is a computer system that is designed to pull off a few or one specific function, more often than not in real-time computing constraints. An embedded system is called an embedded system because it is embedded in or is a part of much complex and complete device that comprises hardware, moveable and mechanical parts. They are basically microcontroller to work with ‘applications as a resulted output. A microcontroller is a device with its own memory (RAM, ROM) and many more features added to it such as UART, Interupts and Timer etc, which make it superior to the microprocessors.

Embedded system is basically a combination of hardware with software. An embedded system basically is a computer system that is designed to pull off a few or one specific function, more often than not in real-time computing constraints. Advance version of combo of two most vetern embedded systems i.e. PIC and 8051 together. They both have various advantages. The PIC is a very general purpose microcontroller with ADC, counter, Built in oscillator with selectable speeds Wide range of interfaces including SPI, USB, USART, AD, programmable comparators, PWM has been used with the advantages of the 8-bit 8051 microcontroller

Embedded system is basically a combination of hardware with software. Embedded system basically is a computer system that is designed to pull off a few or one specific function, more often than not in real-time computing constraints. PIC family is advancement over 8051. PIC is faster than 8051 and the biggest difference is that PIC is a microcontroller whereas 8051 is a processor. Many types of electronic projects can be constructed easily with the PIC family of microprocessors, as clocks, very simple video games, robots, and many more. It is code efficient and based on RISC.
