Project Description

The main aim of a can crushing machine is to smash an empty can into the smallest unit possible. Anyone who drinks a couple of sodas, cold drinks a week may never see the need to compact the cans, but others who are heavy drinkers may find these devices very helpful. Restaurants, bars, catering halls and recycling plants are places where a can crushing machine is pretty much a must. The main components used in this project are Crank, piston and metallic body consisting of barring and handle for manual operation. In this project a crushing can is placed in the u shaped drum. The handle is connected to the piston through crank. When the human rotate the handle the crank forcefully moves the piston towards the drum and, the piston strike onto the can with large force which crushes the can.
