Increasing traffic have increased frequent acceleration and deceleration which decreases the vehicle inefficiency and also causes more energy consumption. To improve fuel economy, this energy being wasted needs to be saved. Numbers of solutions are being introduced to fulfill the need for better fuel economy and one such solution is using pneumatic hybrids. This mechanical project is about designing a pneumatic vehicle to overcome fuel consumption. The concept behind designing this pneumatic vehicle is to lessen the consumption of fuel and to utilize the brake energy that would have otherwise been considered lost. Pneumatic vehicle is designed by using a pneumatic hybrid engine at the place of conventional engines. The fuel consumption of any pneumatic vehicle is also lesser than the conventional vehicles. This project works utilizing the principle of pneumatic system and hence is important in both theoretical as well as practical aspects.
