Project Description

Wireless communication is a field of interest for many scholars and researchers. Researches are being done to improve the speed of data transmission and to improve the reliability of the system. Students of electronics engineering and electronics and communication engineering choose this field for doing their M-tech project and M-tech thesis. This project topic categorized as wireless projects is M-tech level projects that analyze PAPR reduction approaches and comparison is done between the both. PAPR is Peak to average ratio and the problem of PAPR arises in OFDM systems. The problem of PAPR in OFDM system causes performance degradation of the systems and will enhance the out-of-band power. To improve the performance of OFDM systems and to improve their efficiency PAPR reduction in OFDM systems is done. In this M-tech project two techniques namely PTS and SLM are implemented and comparative analysis of both techniques is done. In the PTS technique, sub blocks are formed by partitioning the input data block of N symbols. The weighing of sub blocks is done according to the phase factor of that sub block. The PAPR is reduced by the selection of the phase factors. The second technique that is employed for PAPR reduction is the SLM technique. Numbers of asymptotically independent OFDM signals are generated by the SLM technique. The signal of the lowest PAPR is selected from the generated signal and the transmission is done. This reduces PAPR of the overall signal. This is a M-tech level project which is implemented using MATLAB software and the results of Comparisons of both the applied techniques are obtained at the end.

    Matlab Basics and Image Processing

MATLAB (matrix laboratory) is a numerical computing environment and fourth-generation programming language. Developed by Math Works, MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages, including C, C++, Java, and Fortran. MATLAB is widely used in all areas of applied mathematics, in education and research at universities, and in the industry. Image processing usually refers to digital image processing, but optical and analog also are possible. image processing is any form of signal processing for which the input is an image, such as a photograph or video frame; the output of image processing may be either an image or a set of characteristics or parameters related to the image. MATLAB allows you to deal easily with images and videao, audio then any other software. Algorithm development is central to image processing and computer vision because each situa

MATLAB is widely used in all areas of applied mathematics, in education and research at universities, and in the industry. It is preferred over other languages because of its advantages as: Its basic data element is the matrix. Several mathematical operations that work on arrays or matrices are built-in to the Matlab environment. Adding two arrays together needs only one command, instead of a for or while loop. The graphical output is optimized for interaction. You can plot your data very easily, and then change colors, sizes, scales, etc, by using the graphical interactive tools. Matlab’s functionality can be greatly expanded by the ad
