ENERGY FROM SOUND
Energy generation is a wide topic for making projects. Children can choose any topic of their choice from the energy generation devices. Choosing this topic for their project making will also help in their studies as these are also the part of their curriculum. Children can implement their own ideas to design a generator like the one designed in the project. Renewable resources are now being used for making energy. These resources are inexhaustible, hence there are no chances of depletion. Wind, sun, water etc. are renewable resources of energy that are being employed nowadays as solution to meet the growing energy demands. This is a project that demonstrates energy production from sound. Sound travels in the form of waves and these waves carry some energy. This energy of the sound waves is employed for generation of energy to glow a LED. This project is a small level project but can be implemented at higher levels to produce energy using sound waves. A speaker is used in the project that will take the sound and will increase the frequency of the sound waves that will cause vibrations. Due to these vibrations, magnetic field will be generated that will induce current in the coil. A step up transformer is used in the project. The induced current in the coil will glow the LED used in the project that will prove energy generation. A Do It Yourself kit will be provided by EESPL. A CD will be provided along the kit that will have a video which will have all the instructions of assembling the parts for completing a project along with the description of the project. The kit and the CD will be delivered to you packed in a box.
