The main aim of this project is to design a braking mechanism using the magnetic system. The main components used in this project are electromagnet, tyre, motor, belt, switch, power supply and regulator to control the motor speed. The motor is used to rotate the tyre through belt whose speed is controlled by the regulator. This project is based on the magnetic theory .when the switch is ON the magnetic field is generated which introduce the break by a brake shoe connected to the electromagnet. The brake shoe connected to electromagnet stops the rotating tyre and come back to its initial position when magnetic field is removed with the help of spring connected to brake shoe. The power supply is used to power the motor and generating the magnetic field.
